Totara Springs Christian Centre has long been recognised as one of New Zealand’s leading outdoor education and camping facilities. Situated in an idyllic rural setting close to Matamata, Totara Springs provides a variety of camping, adventure and conference related facilities and programmes to schools, community groups, businesses and families.

Operated as a not-for-profit organisation Totara Springs sets high standards across all of its activities. The Board of Trustees seek expressions of interest from suitably skilled individuals for the role of General Manager for the Centre.

Key areas of responsibility will include; people management, marketing development and implementation, and financial planning and reporting.

The General Manager will need to show sound business acumen, strong people leadership capabilities, excellent communication and networking skills and a commitment to the organisation’s mission statement and values.

On site accommodation, appropriate for a family, will be provided to the successful applicant as part of the total remuneration package.

Outdoor Instructor / Host

For the past 41 years, Totara Springs Christian Centre has put smile's on kid's faces. Do you have the capability to help us in continuing this great ministry?

A vacancy has arisen for a full-time outdoor instructor with a climbing/abseiling qualification and experience. You must have the ability to lead a number of outdoor pursuits, love working with people, especially kids, be responsible and have lots of initiative. You are a skilled person that is a team player.
This role also includes hosting groups of clients, and that equals superior customer service.
